Dr. Molly Barrow and NAACP President Harold Weeks
Dr. Molly Barrow was the guest speaker at the NAACP meeting. Dr. Barrow spoke about self-esteem and life choices. An issue of concern is the new census does not count a person of color who checks the box OTHER rather than African American or Negro. If the census does not count every person of color, that means that your community gets less money, services and benefits. If the census does not fix the problem, then I find that very discriminatory.
